A backcountry camping area at North Beach within Caines Head State Recreation Area, featuring four tent platforms near a day-use shelter with fire pits and an outhouse. The site offers views of mountains and ocean with opportunities to observe marine wildlife including whales, seals, and porpoises. Access is via the 4.5-mile Coastal Trail from Lowell Point (requires low tide of +3 feet or lower) or by boat. A bear locker is provided at the eating area. The area has a 15-night camping limit.
