A walk-in backcountry campsite along the Continental Divide Trail on the west shore of a Yellowstone lake. This primitive site requires hiking to reach and a backcountry permit from Recreation.gov. The lakeside location offers scenic camping in a remote wilderness setting. Campers must bring at least 35 feet of rope to hang food from poles or use bear-resistant containers. Best accessed during summer and early fall months.
