A walk-in backcountry campsite along the Continental Divide Trail in the Upper Firehole area of Yellowstone. This primitive site requires hiking to reach and a backcountry permit from Recreation.gov. The location offers solitude in the park's geothermal region. Campers must bring rope for hanging food from poles or carry bear-resistant containers. Access is best during July through September when trails are most passable.
