This is a primitive backcountry campsite in Yellowstone National Park requiring a permit for overnight stays. Backcountry permits cost $5 per person per night plus a $10 reservation fee and must be obtained through Recreation.gov. Permits must be picked up in person at a Backcountry Permit Office within two days of the trip start date. Peak season operates May 15 through October 31.
