South Bay is a designated backcountry campsite located along the Continental Divide Trail in the Snake River and Heart Lake region of southern Yellowstone National Park. This walk-in site provides primitive camping facilities for backpackers exploring the remote wilderness areas of the park backcountry system.

8C5 is a campsite situated on the Snake River along the 8C5 Campsite Spur Trail within Yellowstone National Park. Type: Backcountry campsite. Water Access: Located on the Snake River. Trail Access: Connected via the 8C5 Campsite Spur Trail, foot traffic only.
Campsite 8C5 is located near the third Snake River crossing when traveling from the south. The site can be accessed via the Snake River Cutoff Trail and Snake River Canyon Trail, with connections to the Heart River Trail.
The Snake River South Boundary Loop passes through backcountry campsites in the southern portion of Yellowstone National Park, connecting the Snake River area with Heart Lake in the remote wilderness areas.
Continental Divide Trail Wyoming Section 20 passes through Yellowstone National Park including the Snake River area in the southern backcountry.
