Moose Creek Outlet is a boat-in backcountry campsite located on Shoshone Lake in Yellowstone National Park. This designated site provides vault toilet facilities and is accessible only by watercraft. No wood fires are allowed at this location. A backcountry permit is required for overnight stays. All coals and ashes must be packed out. Maximum stay is 3 consecutive nights unless otherwise noted.

No wood fires allowed in the Shoshone Lake region. Campers must use either propane or white gas stoves. Primitive pit toilets are provided at all campsites.
8S1 (Outlet Boat) designated as Non-Motorized Boat access. Campfires are permitted only in established fire pits. Wood fires are not allowed in some backcountry campsites.
