Located at 7,800 feet elevation on the southwest shore of Yellowstone Lake within a lodgepole pine forest. The 429-site facility sits near West Thumb Geyser Basin, accessed from the Grand Loop Road at the south end of the lake. Sites accommodate tents and RVs up to 50 feet, with picnic tables and fire grates at each location. No hookups are provided. Comfort stations throughout the campground offer flush toilets and dishwashing areas. A camper services building provides showers and laundry. An on-site dump station and recycling area are available. Grant Village, approximately one mile away, features dining, a gas station, general store, and post office.
