A primitive backcountry campsite in Yellowstone National Park requiring advance permits through Recreation.gov or in-person availability. Located in a thermal basin region, this site provides only basic infrastructure including a food storage pole or bear box. No water or toilet facilities are available - campers must treat all water sources and practice proper waste disposal by burying waste at least 100 feet from water and trails. Campfires are permitted in the fire ring where provided. A 35-foot rope is required for sites with food poles.
