Backcountry campsite 9D1 located at Three Rivers Junction where the Phillips, Gregg, and Ferris Forks converge to form the Bechler River in Yellowstone's remote Bechler region. The campsite sits in a wedge between the Phillips and Gregg Forks, approximately 7.5 miles from the Bechler Ranger Station via the Bechler River Trail. The site features thermal features flowing directly into the river within the camping area. The primary attraction is Mr. Bubbles, a natural thermal swimming hole (110�F, 15 feet across, 4 feet deep) located a quarter-mile up Ferris Fork from the campsite, accessible via a half-mile spur trail. Upstream access also leads to four small waterfalls. This highly sought-after site books out quickly each year primarily due to its proximity to the hot spring. Year-round permits required through Recreation.gov with a maximum 3 consecutive nights stay limit.
