A designated backcountry walk-in campsite (site 9U1) in the Falls River area of southwest Yellowstone, located along the Mountain Ash Creek Trail in the Bechler region. This remote wilderness site requires hiking approximately 6.4 miles from Cave Falls trailhead, including river fording. The campsite provides bear-resistant food storage using a pole system and is situated near Mountain Ash Creek. Advance permits are required year-round through Recreation.gov, with prime season from late June through September. Not reservable before July 15.
