Located near the Lewis River Channel that connects Lewis Lake to Shoshone Lake, this site accommodates up to 8 people and is accessible only by non-motorized watercraft. Shoshone Lake is the largest lake in the lower 48 states without road access according to the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service. A backcountry permit is required and can be reserved through Recreation.gov. Campfires are not permitted.
