Fresno Beach is a free primitive campground along the shores of Fresno Reservoir, located about 12 miles west of Havre on Highway 2, managed by the U.S. Bureau of Reclamation. The reservoir spans over 5,760 acres and offers 65 miles of shoreline, making it a prime destination for fishing, boating, and swimming. Anglers will find walleye, northern pike, perch, and whitefish in the reservoir. Facilities include vault restrooms and a concrete boat ramp. No drinking water is available, so visitors should come fully prepared. No reservations are required. Maximum stay is 14 days.
