Indian Hills Conservation Area encompasses 3,975 acres of rolling hills along the two branches of the Fabius River in Scotland County. The area offers diverse recreational opportunities including camping, hunting for deer and turkey, fishing, and wildlife observation. Camping is permitted in designated parking and grassy areas for up to 14 consecutive days within any 30-day period. Basic facilities include two unisex vault toilets. The area features managed wetlands, oxbow lakes, and over five miles of permanent streams. Open 4 AM to 10 PM daily, with 24-hour access for camping, hunting, and fishing where permitted. Quiet hours 10 PM to 6 AM.
