Little Scotia Pond is a primitive dispersed camping area located within the Mark Twain National Forest near Salem, Missouri. The site was once a developed Forest Service campground but has not been maintained since the 1980s. The area now offers a rustic, back-to-nature camping experience with no developed facilities. Campers should be prepared to pack in and pack out all supplies. The namesake pond, approximately 2 acres in size, offers fishing opportunities for bass, bluegill, crappie, and sunfish. The area is particularly popular with hunters. Wildlife including deer, beavers, and raccoons are commonly spotted. Access is via County Road 537 off Highway 72, about 20 miles east of Salem.

Dispersed camping means there are no toilets, no structures, no trash cans, no treated water, and no fire grates. Dispersed Camping areas have few, if any, amenities or other facilities.

Dispersed camping is allowed throughout the forest. National Forest lands are open year-round for dispersed camping with a 14-day stay limit.
