Scrivner Road Conservation Area is a 919-acre Missouri Department of Conservation property in Cole County, about three miles south of Russellville. The area centers on the nine-acre Winegar Lake and more than two miles of South Moreau Creek frontage, with an 8.5-mile trail system that traverses most of the property. Designated primitive camping is available at no charge, with vault toilets provided and no water hookups. The area is open to hunting, fishing, hiking, trapping, and nature observation. Camping is first-come, first-served and limited to 14 consecutive days in any 30-day period.
