A 2,896.5-acre conservation area in Atchison County featuring individual campsites at the East Campground location. The area offers quality fishing for bass, bluegill, and channel catfish in the 13-acre Charity Lake, along with hunting opportunities for deer, turkey, rabbit, and squirrel. Hiking trails and birdwatching are popular activities. The site includes the Brickyard Hill Loess Mounds Natural Area with rare hill prairie ecosystems and state-listed plant species. Camping is limited to 14 consecutive days within any 30-day period, with quiet hours from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. Located 0.125 mile east of I-29 Exit 116 via Route B, then 0.125 mile southeast on Route RA. Pets and hunting dogs must be leashed unless actively hunting, and target shooting is prohibited.
