This rustic site provides basic amenities including a vault toilet, picnic table, and fire ring, but no potable water. The campground operates on a first-come, first-served basis through the North Maine Woods system, with no reservations required though they are recommended for Friday and Saturday nights during peak season. Campers must check in at a North Maine Woods checkpoint and pay applicable camping fees. Dead and downed wood may be used for campfires without a permit when using the provided fire ring. The location offers access to remote wilderness camping, fishing, and hunting opportunities in Maine's vast northern forestlands.
