Backcountry camping site located at a historic rock quarry within DeSoto State Park. Accessible via the White Trail with a 2-mile hike from parking at the Country Store or CCC Museum. The quarry was used by the Civilian Conservation Corps to extract stone for constructing the park lodge and other buildings, with visible drill marks and dynamite blasts remaining. The campsite is located on the lower end of the quarry rim. This primitive backpacking site offers a more remote camping experience within the park.
