A scenic campground nestled on the south side of the Brooks Range in the Middle Fork Koyukuk River valley, located at mile 180 of the Dalton Highway. Situated 5 miles north of Coldfoot, this BLM-managed facility offers 27 sites within a spruce forest setting with stunning vistas of the Brooks Range. The campground includes 14 pull-through sites suitable for RVs, with three sites designated as accessible. Each site features a fire ring and picnic table, with potable drinking water, vault toilets, and firewood available. An on-site camp host provides assistance. The campground serves as an excellent base for hiking to Marion Creek Falls via a nearby undeveloped trail, gold panning, fishing, and accessing the backcountry of both Arctic National Wildlife Refuge and Gates of the Arctic National Park. Note that cellular service is limited, with better coverage available 5 miles south in Coldfoot.
