A primitive roadside camping area located at mile 16.6 on Nabesna Road within Wrangell-St. Elias National Park. The site features a picnic table and offers scenic views of the Wrangell Mountains. Game trails cross the tundra from the camping area to a small nearby lake, providing opportunities for wildlife viewing and exploration. No toilet facilities are available at this location. Camping is free and available on a first-come, first-served basis.

The park is open year-round, but the best time to visit is from mid-May through September. By the end of September, winter will have arrived, and the McCarthy and Nabesna Roads may not be passable.
