A 275-acre state recreation site located at mile 18 of the North Tongass Highway in the Ketchikan District, open year-round. The facility has 13 campsites with a 7-night stay limit and RV length limit of 35 feet. A public-use cabin is also available. The site features wheelchair-accessible facilities including toilets, water access, picnic sites and shelters. A rare sandy beach provides access to Clover Passage. Multiple trails include the Hollow Cedar Beach Access Trail (ADA accessible with assistance), Lunch Falls Loop Trail, and Lunch Creek Trail. Activities include camping, shore fishing, and hiking. Winter road maintenance is not provided on Settlers Cove Road, so access may be icy or snow-packed.
