The yurt has 4 bunks with foam mattresses, a wood stove, an outhouse, and a pulley system for food storage. There is a fire ring at the top of the beach with views across Kachemak Bay toward Homer and Halibut Cove. Water is available in the campground area but must be boiled for 12 minutes before consumption. Beach access is limited to boat traffic at middle to high tide, with the Glacier Spit trail system accessible at low tide. Significant wave action occurs during afternoon breezes from approximately 11 AM to 7 PM.
