A municipal RV campground operated by the City of Seward, located at the north end of Ballaine Boulevard overlooking Resurrection Bay. Marathon Campground is an RV-only dry camping facility (no hookups) that offers waterfront views and can become crowded during summer months. The campground is part of the Seward Waterfront Park system with access to shared amenities including a 24/7 shower house at Resurrection campground, restrooms, and a free public dump station at the corner of B Street and Ballaine Blvd. All sites include picnic tables and fire pits. Reservations are accepted through Campspot and recommended during peak season. Operating seasonally from mid-April through early October.
