A municipal RV campground managed by the City of Seward, located at Railway Avenue (near 610 Railway Avenue) adjacent to the Alaska SeaLife Center and downtown shops and restaurants. Iditarod Campground is uniquely positioned at the start of the historic Iditarod Trail. The facility provides 11 dry camping spots designed for RVs with access to full-service amenities including showers and flush toilets at shared facilities. The campground operates seasonally from mid-April through early October, not year-round. Reservations available through Campspot beginning mid-January each year.
