A Tongass National Forest campground located 15 miles northwest of downtown Juneau and 1.5 miles from the Alaska State Ferry terminal at Auke Bay. The site once served as a Native Auk Tlingit Village. The campground offers 11 sites accommodating RVs between 14 and 35 feet. Amenities include vault toilets, five drinking water spigots, bear-proof storage boxes, and a day-use parking area. Visitors enjoy views of the Chilkat Mountain Range and ocean, with a scenic beach nearby. Activities include fishing, wildlife viewing, kayaking, hiking, berry picking, and glacier viewing.
