Birdsong Conservation Area offers 430 acres of diverse habitat along Brush Creek in St Clair County, featuring oak savannas, dolomite glades, and native grasslands. The area is known for its exceptional birdwatching opportunities and contains a Natural Area protecting 41 fish species including the federally threatened Niangua darter. Camping is permitted with a 14-day limit per 30-day period. Popular activities include hunting for deer, turkey, and small game, fishing for bass and sunfish, and wildlife observation. Open 4 AM to 10 PM daily.
