A 238-acre conservation area located 0.75 miles south of Hardin on Route J, featuring a primitive camping area on the west side with minimal facilities. Free primitive camping is available for up to 14 consecutive days in any 30-day period, with a maximum of 30 camping days per year across all Missouri Department of Conservation lands. Campers should bring their own water as no facilities or RV hookups are provided. The area is open 24 hours for camping, fishing, hunting, and trapping where permitted.
