A primitive river campsite along the Gulkana National Wild and Scenic River, managed by the Bureau of Land Management. NitiniTAANI Camp (an Ahtna Athabascan name) provides a wilderness camping experience along the 181-mile wild river corridor. The site can accommodate approximately 3 tents and is accessible only by watercraft. No developed facilities are available at this location - visitors must be fully self-sufficient and practice proper food storage due to bear activity. Help preserve the wild character of this designated Wild and Scenic River by following Leave No Trace principles. The river running season extends from early June through mid-September.
