A remote 630-acre state marine park on the north end of Kruzof Island, approximately 25 miles northwest of Sitka. The park offers one mile of sandy beach on the Gulf of Alaska with opportunities for hiking, beachcombing, camping, bird watching, and fishing. Access is by boat to Kallinin Bay followed by a 3.5-mile trail through forest and muskegs, or by float plane. No developed facilities are available, so visitors must bring sufficient water, food, and supplies. Wildlife includes sea lions and bears. Best visited during summer months from June to August when weather is most favorable.
