A US Forest Service campground located 7 miles southeast of Sitka on Baranof Island, 1.5 miles up Blue Lake Road. The facility contains 3 single tent sites and 1 group site accommodating up to 30 people. Two sites can handle small RVs without hookups. Amenities include picnic tables, fire rings, garbage bins, covered group shelter, vault toilet, and bear-proof lockers. Potable water is not available, though visitors may treat water from Sawmill Creek. Accessible by vehicle from May 15 to November 1, or year-round by foot, cross-country skis, or bikes. A 14-day overnight stay limit per calendar year is monitored and enforced. Trailhead to Beaver Lake/Herring Cove Trail accessible from campground.
