A remote Bureau of Land Management campground positioned north of the Brooks Range along the Dalton Highway at milepost 275. This northernmost BLM campground in the United States offers spectacular tundra views with the Brooks Range as backdrop and serves as an excellent basecamp for exploring Gates of the Arctic National Park to the west and Arctic National Wildlife Refuge to the east. The surrounding landscape provides habitat for caribou, wolves, brown bears, and numerous migratory bird species. Due to the tundra environment, visitors must bring their own firewood as none is available locally.
