A remote backcountry kayaker drop-off location in the West Arm of Glacier Bay, approximately 25 miles from Bartlett Cove. This dispersed camping area offers spectacular glacier and mountain views in one of Alaska most pristine wilderness settings. Visitors must obtain a free backcountry permit at the Visitor Information Station and attend a mandatory orientation before departure. Bear-resistant food containers are provided at no charge. Access is by kayak or via the park concessionaire tour boat drop-off service operated by Glacier Bay Lodge. No facilities are available at this remote location.
