Explore Campgrounds

A dispersed camping area in the Tongass National Forest, located 14 miles south of Wrangell on Zimovia Highway. Access the info site by turning right on Forest Road 6267 at mile marker 0.5. The Nemo area includes multiple primitive sites along the forest road: Yunshookuh Loop (3 sites) at 0.7 miles, Three Sisters View Point (1 site) at 1.5 miles, Anita Bay Overlook (2 sites) at 2.2 miles, and Highline Campsite (2 sites) at 3.3 miles. The entry site serves as an information point for the Nemo campsites and is used for evening campground programs during summer months. Restrooms are available but potable water is not provided. No camping fees. Managed by Wrangell Island Host Volunteers when occupied.
