A community-operated campground at Halfmoon Lake in Thorhild County, Alberta, managed by volunteers of the Half Moon Lake Community Association. Open from May 15 to September 30 each year with gates locked during the off-season. The park features seasonal camping sites with power, fire pits, and picnic tables. Amenities include a small concession stand, playground, grass beach, cook shack, washrooms with change rooms, and boat launch access. The Halfmoon Lake Nature Area offers walking trails and an outdoor classroom. Day use and boat launch available for a fee. Located approximately 6 km west of Thorhild on Highway 18, then south on Opal Road and west on Township 590. Dogs are permitted only in designated campsites with registration required.
