Hanmore Lake East Campground is a county-operated facility located about 20 km north of Smoky Lake on Highway 855, offering 16 individual campsites plus one large group site in a forested lakeside setting with mature trees. The campground features a main swimming area with docks, day-use picnic zone, playground, and public boat launch. Firewood and ice are available for purchase on-site, and kayak and paddleboard rentals are offered. Sites do not have electrical, water, or sewage hookups. The facility is pet-friendly and operates from mid-May through early October. Nightly rate is $25 with online reservations available through the LetsCamp platform.
