Centrally located near Norris Geyser Basin and the Gibbon River, Norris Campground is one of Yellowstone's popular camping destinations. The campground has 100 sites and typically operates on a first-come, first-served basis. However, the campground is closed for the 2025 season and no reopening date has been announced. The closure appears to be related to staffing issues that have affected the facility since 2021.
