Bridger Jack Mesa is a dispersed camping area located along Beef Basin Road in the spectacular Canyonlands region of southeastern Utah. This BLM-managed wilderness study area offers primitive camping opportunities amidst dramatic orange-red cliffs and stunning mesa landscapes. The area features designated dispersed camping spots with basic amenities like picnic tables and fire rings near the trailhead. Popular with rock climbers, hikers, and off-road enthusiasts, the area provides outstanding opportunities for solitude and primitive recreation. Access is via Highway 211 from Moab, turning south on Beef Basin Road at Cottonwood Creek Recreation Site.

Located about 18 miles northwest of Monticello, UT. From Monticello drive north on Highway 191 for 14.4 miles, turn left (west) onto UT-211 and travel 20.2 miles, then at Cottonwood Creek Recreation site turn left (south) onto Beef Basin Road
Free dispersed camping limited to designated sites only. Primitive, non-reservable, no-fee campsite. No water or restroom facilities available
