Howard City Park offers 7 pull-through camping pads with full hookups including water, electric (50 amp), and sewer at all sites. A restroom facility with showers was completed in 2006. The campground is located along Highway 34, just east of the Howard Community Fire Hall. The park is a short distance from Prairie Village Museum, which showcases regional pioneer heritage, and nearby Lake Carthage provides fishing, boating, and swimming opportunities. Reservations are accepted by calling the city office.
