A backcountry canoe-camping area in the northwestern section of Gatineau Park, accessible only by paddle. Sites 8A-8D are part of 32 total campsites located 30 to 90 minutes by paddle from the boat launch and La P�che Beach. This is the only campground in Gatineau Park dedicated to canoe-camping, offering a pristine wilderness experience with multiple scenic bays and an inlet. The sites include vault toilets and require visitors to bring their own water. Canoe and kayak rentals are available at the boat launch. Reservations are required and open on March 15 each year through the NCC reservation system. The camping season runs from mid-May to mid-October, with firewood included in the nightly rate. Managed by the National Capital Commission.
