A primitive camping area at the north end of Porter Lake, managed by the Northwest Florida Water Management District. Located 22 miles south of I-10 and Chipley, the site is part of the Econfina Creek Wildlife Management Area. Four campsites are available by reservation: two designated for tents only and two suitable for tents, travel trailers, or RVs. Free camping with basic amenities including a pavilion, picnic tables, fire rings, pedestal grills, portable toilet, and boat launch access to Porter Lake. Reservations can be made online or by phone.
