A primitive lean-to shelter maintained by the Finger Lakes Trail Conference in the southwestern portion of Robinson Hollow State Forest, located along the Finger Lakes Trail. The Kimmie Lean-to is accessed via a blue-blazed side trail after crossing a small creek. Primitive camping is free and available year-round, but campsites must be positioned at least 150 feet from roads, trails, or water. Camping for more than three nights or groups of ten or more requires a Forest Ranger permit. The lean-to provides basic shelter in a 1,968-acre forest spanning Tioga, Tompkins, and Cortland counties.
