Eastside Campground at Sumner Lake State Park offers year-round lakeside camping with 11 sites accommodating RVs and trailers from 37 to 120 feet. All sites feature full hookups including 30 and 50 amp electric service, water, and sewer connections. The campground provides open spaces with water views overlooking the large reservoir. Located in De Baca County, the park is accessible from Interstate 40 at Santa Rosa by taking US 84 South to State Road 203, then west on 203 for 6 miles to the park entrance. Reservations are accepted and can be booked up to 6 months in advance. Summer temperatures can reach the 90s, while winter lows may drop into the 20s.
