A primitive camping area at Speck Davis Pond Wildlife Management Area in Slope County, located 16 miles west and 4 miles north of Amidon. Managed by the North Dakota Game and Fish Department, this site offers fishing opportunities for rainbow trout (stocked annually), bluegill, and largemouth bass. The WMA operates on a limited camping schedule: open Thursday through Monday, closed Tuesday and Wednesday except holidays. All camping equipment must be removed on closure days. Camping is limited to 10 consecutive days maximum. The facility has minimal developed infrastructure typical of wildlife management areas.
