Seven Island Conservation Area encompasses 1,375 acres along the Mississippi River in Mississippi County, Missouri. The area stretches nearly 8.5 miles with 3.5 miles of river frontage. Dispersed walk-in, float-in, and backpack camping is permitted 24 hours a day in designated areas. The facility has no developed amenities and closes during periods of high water. Quiet hours are in effect from 10 PM to 6 AM. Campers may stay up to 14 consecutive days within any 30-day period. Groups exceeding 10 people require a special use permit requested at least 30 days in advance. The area is located two miles southwest of Dorena.
