Rinquelin Trail Lake Conservation Area features 286 acres in Maries County, centered around a 29-acre fishing lake named after a historic Indian trail connecting the Gasconade and Osage rivers. The area offers wheelchair-accessible facilities including a boat ramp, fishing jetties, and a double-pit privy. Camping is permitted for up to 14 consecutive days within any 30-day period. Only electric motors are allowed on the lake due to its size under 70 acres. Popular activities include fishing for sunfish, catfish, and bass, plus hunting for deer, turkey, and small game. The area has three parking lots accommodating 26 vehicles. Open 4 AM to 10 PM daily, with 24-hour access for camping, hunting, and fishing.
