As part of the Wilderness Shores network of over 30 recreation areas spanning 23,000 acres near WE Energies' 12 hydroelectric plants in northeast Wisconsin and Michigan's Upper Peninsula, the site provides a rustic base for fishing, boating, and exploring the reservoir. The campground typically opens by Memorial Day weekend and closes September 30, with exact opening dates varying by weather. A 15-day stay limit per season applies per recreation area. Standard sites are $15 per night, with premium sites at $20 per night.
