A rustic state forest campground situated along the scenic Au Sable River in Crawford County, about 15 miles east of Grayling. The campground offers sites for tent camping and small trailers, with no hookups or electricity available. Amenities include vault toilets, potable water from a hand-pump well, fire rings, and picnic tables. Sites are first-come, first-served. The campground provides excellent trout fishing access, with brown, brook, and rainbow trout in the Au Sable River. A canoe group-use area offers paddlers direct river access. A Michigan Recreation Passport is required for entry.
