Remote Site 24 is one of 33 boat-access-only primitive campsites around Umbagog Lake State Park, managed by New Hampshire Division of Parks and Recreation. The isolated site features a fire pit and picnic table in a wooded setting accessible only by canoe, kayak, or motorboat. The park offers canoe and kayak rentals and provides transportation for remote site campers. Wildlife viewing opportunities include birds, deer, and moose. Sites are available from late May through mid-October at $40 per night (base fee covers 2 adults and up to 4 children under 18). Reservations available up to 11 months in advance through the NH State Parks system. Pets are prohibited at sites within Umbagog National Wildlife Refuge boundaries.
