Hawk Cove offers boat-access-only camping on Hart-Miller Island in the upper Chesapeake Bay. The camping area features 11 waterfront campsites, each equipped with a picnic table, lantern post, and campfire grill. Accessible exclusively by personal boat or watercraft, this primitive camping area operates seasonally from May through September. Water supply and restrooms are located on the main Hart-Miller Island section, not directly at Hawk Cove sites. Registration fees are collected after setup at $6 per site per night, operating on a first-come, first-served basis. Alcohol is prohibited throughout the island.
