Ivan Lake Campground is located within the Bodcau Wildlife Management Area in Bossier Parish, approximately 17 miles northeast of Bossier City. The area features both improved campsites and primitive camping areas around Ivan Lake, a manmade seasonal flood reservoir created by a dam. The lake offers excellent bass and bream fishing, with crawfish available during certain seasons. Small boats are permitted on the lake. Numerous trails wind through the WMA for hiking and nature walks. The area provides hunting opportunities for deer, rabbits, and waterfowl during designated seasons. Access from Haughton: travel north on LA Highway 157 from I-20, then follow signs to Bodcau WMA.
